MRI Results

TMB called the chiro’s office first thing this morning.  The results are not good.

We knew he had compressed vertibrae in the middle of his back.  What we didn’t know is that he know has compressed vertibrae in his lower back.

The chiro suggested physical therapy.  I’m not sure if it’s short-term or long-term.  Depending on this is how much his therapy sessions will cost.

But at least now we know what’s wrong so that now we can fix it – or at least manage it.

  1. Knowing is half the battle, definitely. Get the chiro to design a physio-like set of exercises you can do at home, to minimize costs. That way he’ll only have to go in for what can’t be done at home, and not as often. Good luck…!

    • Thanks, Jenn. I believe at this point, exercise is probably his best bet anyway. You know how after surgery they tell you to move? I think this is very similar. He seems to hurt worse after sitting on the couch for awhile – even though as he’s sitting, the pain is lessened. Double edged sword, me thinks…
